Watching Freakazoid When Suddenly

Freakazoid was originally created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini to be a lighthearted and fairly straightforward superhero show. However, executive producer Steven Spielberg wanted a zanier comedy, more in the style of his other shows, Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures. Guess who won?

Am I the only one who didn’t know Spielberg produced cartoon shows? I’m actually shocked I never heard about that before! Well, the man is a genius, so it only makes sense that he would do excellent work in various media types. As we can see, Spielberg was also a fan of sneaking in some queer representation, you go, Cosgrove!
