Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a nostalgic ’80s coming-of-age classic movie. It’s relatable to adolescents in every sense of the word. With adolescence comes superficiality, and that’s exactly why this movie was paused so many times. Do you think it has anything to do with the pretty lady taking a dip? So, that being said, one of the most paused scenes includes Phoebe Cates’s as Linda, going for a refreshing swim with her best friend, Stacy. Just as Linda is climbing the ladder to get out of the pool, everyone watching is hitting pause so they can get a closer look. We did say it was a coming-of-age film right?
