Christmas Creep

So if you can’t tell from the subtle hints that I’ve been dropping here and there in this article, I’m a fan of Thanksgiving. But sometimes, it’s hard to be a fan of Thanksgiving when so often it seems like the holiday is getting overlooked and pushed aside in favor of something else.

Yes, I’m talking about the dreaded Christmas creep. And I’m not talking about a creep who dresses as Santa. I’m talking about the fact that stores, radio stations, and your older sister seem determined to start celebrating Christmas earlier and earlier every year, so Thanksgiving barely gets its due. We’ll have a whole month for Christmas, guys! I promise you’ll survive if you don’t put your Christmas decorations up until the day after Thanksgiving.
