Math Still Doesn’t Check Out

Last time we checked, the world’s population was around 8 billion. Perhaps this guy’s living in the 1960s where there were only around 3 billion people on Earth. It seems more likely that he just doesn’t know what he’s talking about. There are many clueless people like that on the internet, you don’t even have to look hard to find them.

In 2020, there were 7.8 billion people on the planet. It’s pretty safe to assume that the number didn’t change too drastically over the course of 12 months. As for the one billion views this guy got, congratulations on your achievement, but that’s nowhere near the 2.6 billion you’d need to actually reach the one-third mark of the human population.
