We’re not all math atheltes, and that’s okay. But if you can’t do the math, don’t do the math. If she got 3-plus million by dividing 21 million by 6.6 million, there’s something wrong here. Just because zeros may or may not be a natural number doesn’t mean you should disregard them in simple equations.

You can simplify the formula by removing as many zeros from 21 million by however many zeros there are in 6 million. Then, simply divide 21 by 6.6 and get the real number of penguins every person in Ireland would have to fight (theoretically). That’d be roughly 3.2 penguins each. The lesson here? Stay in school, kids.
