Speeding in Texas
Texas has one of the highest speed limits in the country, with some stretches of highway clocking in at a whopping 85 miles per hour. But just because you can go that fast doesn’t necessarily mean you should. Have you ever hit a deer at 85 miles per hour? Trust me, it’s not pretty.

And don’t even get me started on the state troopers – those guys don’t mess around. If you ever find yourself cruising down the open road in Texas, remember to take it easy, enjoy the scenery, and leave the pedal to the metal for the race track. It’s not worth the jail time!
