Piracy Rules

So, it turns out that the chances of getting in trouble for pirating movies or music are about as low as the chances of winning the lottery. According to recent stats, only a tiny fraction of people who engage in piracy face legal repercussions. I mean, who doesn’t love a good, free download? 

But at the same time, you shouldn’t start downloading every movie or album you can find. For one thing, you don’t want to risk getting caught by the piracy police. And for another thing, there’s something to be said for supporting the creators whose work we enjoy. After all, they deserve to get paid for their hard work!
