Drinking Age

Now, let’s talk about something near and dear to my heart – alcohol. The legal drinking age and regulations can vary widely from country to country. In the US, for example, the legal drinking age is 21, but in some European countries, you can enjoy a pint with your meal as early as 16 or 18.

And according to this post, the age is even lower than that in the UK. I have no idea why a 5-year-old would need to drink alcohol at all. Did they have a hard day at daycare or something? It’s a weird law, and this loophole makes it even stranger. Hopefully, this won’t become a trend in other countries…
