Committing Crimes

We’ve already seen the figures about the number of people accused of murder, but how many people have actually taken another person’s life? Figures show that there are over 16,000 murder victims in the US each year, and around 90% of those murders are committed by someone the victim knows.

We never truly know what’s happening in other people’s lives. Anyone – even those we love and trust – can do unthinkable things. Even as true crime fans, these stats remind us that there’s a dark side to human nature that we all need to be aware of to keep ourselves safe.
