Suited Up

Suits of armor might be a thing of the past, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still a few die-hard medieval enthusiasts out there. I’m a bit of a history buff, and I have to admit that owning a suit of armor sounds pretty cool. How many people actually own a suit of armor these days? 

According to recent stats, the number is around 2,000 people in the US. That might not seem like a lot, but it’s enough to fill up a pretty impressive jousting tournament. While I don’t think I’ll be adding a suit of armor to my collection anytime soon, I can appreciate the dedication to owning one.
