5. Should Have Taken the Elevator

Oh no. This slinky has made the worst decision and will probably be trapped here until it wakes up. We’ve all had those dreams that seem to never end despite desperately wanting them to. If anything… time… just… seems… to… slow… down.

Or you just fall off of steps on a rapidly rising escalator. Imagine bringing this sort of a dream to someone to interpret. A psychologist would have a field day with it and all the hidden meaning behind it. You don’t have to find hidden meaning, though, to empathize with a slinky eternally trapped on an escalator.
