#13: Janet Jackson and Tupac

Janet Jackson starred alongside the iconic rapper Tupac Shakur in the 1995 film Poetic Justice. When it came time to film a kissing scene, Jackson voiced concerns over Shakur’s party-filled lifestyle, asking him to take an AIDS test before filming. At the time, there was a lot of misinformation about how the virus could be transmitted, including through kissing.

Shakur, however, felt insulted by the request and refused to take the test. Despite her concerns, Jackson ultimately went ahead with the scene. This tension behind the scenes is surprising, especially given the intense chemistry they displayed on screen in the movie.
