An Inexplicable Moment

Kids say the darndest things, especially when they’re in a cemetery. This person’s nephew couldn’t help but wave at two gravestones he spotted as they all left their local cemetery. Being a curious toddler, he couldn’t help but waddle over to the gravesites. Naturally, his mom followed to wrangle him but stopped in her tracks when she saw the names on the graves. 

The toddler had been waving and saying hi to the gravestones of the couple that originally built their house. They weren’t members of their family, nor had the storyteller’s nephew ever met them. It seems like too much of a coincidence that he would choose those two gravestones. If they really are ghosts, at least they seem friendly!
