In fact, fancy brands like KitchenAid and SMEG design their modern mixers to look a lot like this retro one! It’s funny how styles and designs cycle through popularity over the years.

This old-school stand mixer was a modern marvel in the 1950s. Gone were the days of beating, mixing, and stirring by hand. Electric mixers saved a lot of time and energy in the kitchen. This Meal Maker was pretty expensive when it first hit the market. The price was prohibitive, so electric mixers were still considered a luxury by many.
