The electric fan is truly one of the most underrated inventions in modern history. We guarantee that since the beginning of time, humans have been trying to keep cool with any type of breeze they could muster. The electric fan solved all of our problems. This vintage electric fan isn’t the first of its kind, but it is definitely retro.

Electric fans have existed since 1886 but didn’t become widespread until the 1920s. By then, the technology was refined and much easier to mass produce. More and more people were able to have fans like this one in their homes and offices. This fan and others like it were made of metal. They were advertised as economical and “modern.” It definitely was modern and cutting-edge for the time!
