Mystery Eel

You might think the size of this eel is the strangest part, but you’d be wrong. For many years, scientists have been puzzled about the mystery of eel reproduction. It turns out that no one really knows where eels come from. We’ve seen adult eels migrating thousands of miles but haven’t seen eel breeding in the wild. 

And the craziest part is eel larvae were first discovered in the ocean more than a century ago, but no one has found a breeding ground for them! Some scientists speculate that eels might be breeding in some deep-sea abyss. But for now, it’s still a mystery that we may never solve.
