#45: Why I’m Thankful for My Accounting Class in High School
Excel hasn’t changed much over the years. I graduated high school in 2006 and still use the knowledge I gained from my accounting class to create spreadsheets that work. My teacher drilled those formulas into my core memory system, and I’ll forever be thankful for that.

Of course, it also has to look good, which takes a decent amount of time and patience. You don’t want the columns so wide that additional sheets of paper are needed on a printout, but you need the information to be clear. Depending on the project, this could mean a day’s worth of work to make it presentable.
