#32: I’m Sweating Already
New jobs rarely match your expectations when you walk in the door. Sure, the description is pretty much the same, but the number of things you’re supposed to learn in a single day seems near impossible! You often feel like you’ve aged ten years by 11 am, and lunch can’t come soon enough.

It’s so much that you can’t even retain any of it. You must employ the “fake it until you make it” mantra for at least the first week and hide out around corners watching what other people do so you can figure out exactly how much you’re expected to do daily. It’s even worse in some industries!
