#3: Just Agree to Turn the Video Off!

I had three Zoom calls with the video on and decided it was too much like FaceTime. If it’s work-related, everyone should turn their video off. I don’t keep my house clean enough on a regular basis to have random coworkers getting a sneak peek into my inner sanctum.

Those three video calls were spent staring at myself to ensure I wasn’t making bored faces or rolling my eyes. Every thought I have shows up on my face, so I have to carefully keep a frozen mask of “I’m here and listening, and you sound smart,” or I risk showing what I really think of the newest idea.
