#15: Why Is This So True?

This must be a universal phenomenon. I thought I was the only one with a nosy mom and a dad that just stepped back and let her get all the information. It’s not as if dads are not interested. I bet they just don’t want to hear it all from us and then hear it all from our moms again over dinner!

Also, what is it with moms always trying to ask the big questions? Why not ask what I had for breakfast and what my latest favorite read was about? Maybe I should ask her if she’s still married and what she plans to do once she hits a nursing home. That might hush her up for at least a week, right?
