Who knew that we had the power to trick our own taste buds with a little bit of imagination and some convincing sound effects? It just goes to show that the mind is a powerful thing, and that sometimes a little bit of make-believe can go a long way.

But let’s be real – the best part about this fact is that it gives us all an excuse to shake our imaginary salt shakers in public without feeling like complete weirdos. In fact, we can even start a whole imaginary condiment bar, complete with invisible ketchup and mustard. Who needs the real thing when you’ve got a vivid imagination and some enthusiastic friends to play along?
