5. Secret Sexy Tapes

This fun fact is pretty scandalous! Two decades before John F. Kennedy became president, he was the subject of a secret FBI investigation. In the 1940s, JFK was having an affair with a German woman named Inga Arvad. The FBI was suspicious of Inga because of her past associations with Adolf Hitler, so they were keeping close tabs on her. 

JFK was working for Naval Intelligence when he began his short-lived fling with Inga. Because the FBI suspected Inga might be trying to get government secrets out of JFK, they wiretapped the rooms where the two would meet up. Instead of spilling top secret information, JFK and Inga got up to… other activities. The FBI got recordings of those goings-on instead.
