This ancient Egyptian fun fact is NSFW– literally. The true nature of how the ancient Egyptians built the Great Pyramids may never be known to us modern folk. However, we can make an educated guess that the paid laborers who built these structures did NOT wear hard hats!

Honestly, did any civilization have hard hats back in 2450 BCE? Probably not! The ancient Egyptians could have probably used OSHA for some workplace safety and protection. Imagine hauling those giant stones up to the top of the pyramid. No thank you! The people who designed and built the Great Pyramids are braver than all of us.
