#53: Conversation Hacking

The art of conversation is an odd one. There’s the back-and-forth that keeps the conversation going, but then there’s all the little social cues you have to keep track of. If you have social anxiety, it’s an absolute nightmare. Some people like to stare into the other person’s eyes, while others like to look anywhere else to avoid awkward moments.

There are some people, however, who always try to “dominate” in a conversation. For whatever reason, they want to be seen as an aggressive “top dog.” Apparently, the way they do this is by staring at the other person’s forehead instead of their eyes. So, next time someone is questionably looking at your forehead, don’t freak out. They’re trying to play mind games.
