#49: Scamming the System
Don’t read this if you work retail. It might make you mad. Some big box stores have extremely lenient return policies. Naturally, there are customers who love to take advantage of that. And why not? If a giant chain store like Walmart accepts your fake return, more power to ya.

Take, for example, windshield wipers. If you’re feeling extra stingy, you can buy a new pair, put the old ones back in the package, and return them to the store to get your money back. Windshield wipers are, like, twenty bucks, but that’s beside the point. A dollar scammed is a dollar earned.
