This questionable hack is absolutely genius, but we still can’t believe it works. Everyone knows that parking tickets are the worst. If you don’t pay them, these citations will haunt you wherever you go until the day you die. Someone tried a simple but effective method for scrubbing their driving record clean, and it actually worked.

Supposedly, they soaked their dreaded parking ticket in water, crumpled it up, and made it look as beat up as possible. Then, their girlfriend acted like a good samaritan and turned it into a local police station. She told them that she “found it on the street.” This lie implied that the driver never received the ticket. What do you know? A week later, the citation was cleared from their record.
