#27: Childhood Trauma or Life Hack?

Uh, this sounds more like childhood trauma than a clever life hack. But to each their own, apparently. Someone shared a stunt that their friend’s dad would pull whenever he went into a big box electronics store. It sounds borderline illegal. To make matters worse, he’d use his three-year-old son as a decoy.

The dad would have the toddler walk out of the store with an expensive item. If the kid got caught or stopped by an employee, the dad would act shocked and embarrassed that his kid didn’t know they had to pay before leaving the store. If the kid didn’t get caught? Stolen electronics. Yikes. This is a very questionable hack we definitely will not be trying anytime soon.
