#26: Google Image Search

We don’t consider this one a “fishy” hack. It’s just a great common sense rule of thumb to live by if you date online. Whenever you’re chatting someone up on dating apps, reverse image search their profile picture on Google. That way, you can potentially find their other social media accounts.

You can also potentially find out if the photo they’re using is fake or pulled from somewhere else. No one wants to get catfished! This is totally not stalking. It’s simply taking smart precautions to stay safe and make sure you’re talking to a real person online. You gotta do what you gotta do!
