Paint Permission

If you’re a homeowner, you can paint your house whenever and however you want, right? Not when you have an HOA hovering over your community! This person has to get permission from their community HOA to repaint their house. This kind of makes sense, considering that the HOA probably wants the community to look a certain way. It’s a reasonable way to vet any crazy new house colors. 

The thing is, this HOA requires you to get permission to paint your house the same color it already is! If you want to give your house a refresh of the same shade of normcore beige, you have to present your request to the powers that be. That’s a little too much control.
