Out of Sight, Out of Mind

We say this every time, but this has to be the weirdest HOA rule ever. Someone used to live in a condo development that didn’t allow your TV to be seen from any windows in your home. For whatever reason, the HOA wanted the whole community to look like an idyllic wonderland with no technology whatsoever. 

This sounds like a pretty tricky feat, considering that most people put their TVs in the living room. Living rooms usually have windows, so… yeah. One year, the new HOA president tried to take the rule one step further. He didn’t even want the blue glow from a TV to be seen from any windows! Hopefully, these condos had basements because that seems like the only reasonable option with rules like these.
