#4: His College Years
After returning from the war, Newman enrolled at Kenyon College in Ohio, where he discovered a true passion for acting. Initially, he joined the football team but quickly realized he was more comfortable on stage than on the field.

His performances caught the attention of professors, leading him to study drama at Yale. While Yale provided academic training, his real education came later at The Actors Studio in New York, where he studied under Lee Strasberg. He honed his craft alongside future legends like Marlon Brando and James Dean there.
