#13: The Woodward-Newman Family
Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward built a family life as deeply intertwined as their careers. They welcomed three daughters: Elinor (1959), Melissa (1961), and Claire (1965). While Newman was often away filming, he made every effort to be a present father.

Woodward, at times, sacrificed her own career to raise their children, a decision she later admitted was bittersweet. Their home in Connecticut provided a refuge from Hollywood’s chaos. Not to mention Newman’s three children from his previous marriage, the clan had a whole brood to care for.
