One of the biggest traditions for New Year is to kiss someone when the clock strikes midnight. In fact, around half of the American population aims to kiss someone every time it happens, even if they’re not in a relationship. 44% said they would kiss their significant other at midnight.

4% said they’d give a smooch to someone they know but aren’t in a relationship with, while 2% would kiss a stranger simply so they could lock lips with someone!
