#18: Report a Missing Person ASAP

If someone goes missing, you don’t have to wait 48 hours to report it to the police. That’s just ridiculous. In fact, the sooner you report someone missing, the better chance they have of being found safe and sound. Waiting around for two days wastes precious time that could be spent searching for the person. 

Plus, no law says you have to wait 48 hours; it’s just something from the movies and TV shows. So, if you’re ever in a situation where someone you know goes missing, don’t hesitate to call the authorities immediately. Honestly, this act could save their lives.
