#33: Brain Power

I swear, this myth just won’t die. If humans only used 10% of their brains, how do we explain all the amazing things we’ve accomplished? How do we explain the incredible complexity of our thoughts and emotions? It’s just not possible, and it’s used by stupid people to excuse their lack of intelligence.

And let’s be real; if we really only used 10% of our brains, we’d all be a lot more forgetful and a lot less capable of, well, anything. Instead of giving people a reason to believe that this is what we’re doing, why don’t we try to work a little bit harder?
