The figures are in – almost 3% of people report having parents-in-law who are fashion police regarding their grandchildren’s attire. Perhaps they’re trying to start a new version of Project Runway, but with toddlers. Sure, it’s important to make sure your children are dressed well, but it isn’t the be-all and end-all.

Suppose your parents-in-law insist on giving you their unsolicited opinions, smile and nod. In that case, it’s their loss if they can’t appreciate the beauty of a well-placed superhero logo or a pair of mismatched socks. But this situation seems to have been taken a little bit too far…
