#28: You’ve Got a Point There…
We’ve all heard the argument that watching violent movies or playing violent video games can make you more aggressive or violent in real life. But what does science have to say about it? No clear evidence suggests that exposure to violent media causes real-world violence… It’s kind of like blaming your caffeine addiction for your road rage.

There may be a correlation, but it’s not necessarily a cause-and-effect relationship. If it was true, then surely everyone would be violent criminals? Just because this woman feels inspired to bake after watching The Great British Bake Off doesn’t mean that her hypothesis is correct.
