#17: Well, That Escalated Quickly…

There’s nothing worse than being accused of something you didn’t do, especially when it comes from your in-laws. According to a recent study, almost 5% of people report being accused of being a gold digger by their in-laws. They do this to cast doubt on your motives and create tension in your relationship. 

Your relationship is between you and your spouse, not you and your in-laws… Especially not when you’re in high school. To this woman, I say – don’t let her unfounded accusations get in the way of your happiness and love. The fact that this MIL even tried this move is so pathetic and ridiculous; we’re glad this couple broke up.
