I Need a Break
Trying to encourage your employees not to be on their phones can be a tough one to crack. Whether it be a cafe or office workspace, checking your phone every couple of minutes is a very normal activity. There is definitely a limit to what is appropriate when it comes to checking your phone at work because after all, you are meant to be working.

This reaction to phone use at work is kind of over-the-top, though. To cost an employee 30 minutes of their pay each time they check their phone is a very big threat. What is someone meant to do in the case of an emergency? We sure would hope that if something bad happened the management staff would be slightly more understanding than that.
