Calm Down
As with any contract, signing the lease on a new home, when signed by the tenant becomes binding. The tenant agrees to all stipulations in the contract provided by the landlord, and the landlord agrees to hold up their end of the bargain. If the tenant happens to break any rules outlined in the contract, then the landlord holds the right to evict them.

Firstly, this landlord seems to be very hot-headed and I would tend to steer away from these kinds of people. Legally this so-called tenant would need to have received ample warning that they would be evicted for breaching their contract. But we just hope that they actually did receive said warning, because it isn’t so clear to us that they did.
