When it comes to ideologies, there are certain things out there that confuse people, entice people, and even make people laugh. But just like it isn’t appropriate to make fun of someone for their religion, it isn’t ok to comment on, or make fun of someone for their beliefs, especially when they are objectively good.

And to have your boss derail an entire meeting in front of everyone just because you mentioned you have certain beliefs is very inappropriate. Your boss should probably never comment on your religion or beliefs, and to have to defend yourself in a company meeting because of your beliefs is extremely inappropriate.
