If you have had mean bosses before then you know that having nice managers and bosses isn’t always so easy to come by. Even though it would make sense for bosses to treat their employees with kindness and respect, it isn’t the usual way people conduct business.

Generally speaking, as long as you don’t take advantage, it is an ok thing to ask your boss for a change in hours, or time off due to a religious holiday or religious reasons. So to be met with a response like this would be completely shocking. We wonder if this woman ended up quitting her job…
