Frank Sinatra, a famed singer, and Seinfeld, “the show about nothing,” have absolutely nothing in common on the surface. But in another turn of events that is, truthfully, normal and yet feels absurd, Sinatra died on the same day the Seinfeld finale aired. Frank Sinatra, nicknamed “Ol’ Blue Eyes,” was one of the most successful musicians of the 20th Century, famed for his smooth singing voice.

One of his most famous songs is My Way. You may have heard of it. Seinfeld was a sitcom produced and starred in by Jerry Seinfeld, about four friends and their shenanigans in Manhattan. The show is loved to this day. Both Frank Sinatra’s death and the finale airing happened on May 14th, 1998.
