#41: Everyone Loves Mayer Hot Dogs

If you’re a hot dog lover, you probably are familiar with the renowned brand Oscar Mayer. Or is it called Oscar Meyer? Well, some people believe the actual name is Oscar Meyer, with an “e.” But the truth can be a harsh relish to swallow: the correct brand is indeed Oscar Mayer, with an “a.” 

It may seem confusing, especially if you grew up enjoying the flavor of Meyer Wieners, only to encounter Mayer Wieners in your adulthood. I mean, what happened to our cherished childhood memories? Well, we may still eat our hot dogs and act like the correct name is the one our inner child thinks it is.
