#36: Like She Didn’t Have Enough Going on Already

I’ve never had a baby before, but I understand that the delivery process is a painful and all-consuming experience. But this doctor turned the difficulty level up to Expert when she decided to help a patient deliver a baby while delivering a baby of her own.

It’s kind of incredible that in a hospital full of doctors, the only doctor who was available to step in was one who was actually there as a patient. The woman whose baby she helped deliver was just glad to know that she was in expert, caring hands.
