#30: Every Little Bit Helps
Sometimes when we are faced with massive problems—poverty, suffering, damage to the environment—it’s easy to feel powerless and helpless. Sometimes, the easiest thing to do is to throw up our hands and say that it seems like a problem for someone more wealthy or more powerful than us to deal with.

But this man proves that anyone can make a difference. And it doesn’t have to be some grand gesture you do all at once. He just planted trees one at a time, over many years, until finally, he had a forest. What small acts could we do, one by one, that seem small at the moment but that someday will be a nurturing forest of good deeds?
