I think that if most of us got the job of our dreams, one that pays millions of dollars, there’s a good chance that we wouldn’t be smart with that money. The temptation to blow money on houses, cars, clothes, and vacations would be pretty irresistible. And when you look at people who make it big, like athletes and actors, that’s pretty much exactly what happens.

So this story is incredibly heartwarming. This football player knew from personal experience what it was like to struggle to raise kids. So when he found himself with the kind of money that most of us can only dream of, he used it to help more than 100 single moms instead of spending it on himself. Now that’s a feel-good story.
