#21: No Consequences
There were some women who hopped onto the thread to talk about double standards that they’ve noticed in their day-to-day lives. One lady brought up something similar to the previous post. She talked about how frustrating it is to see women basically sexually harassing people with little to no consequences.

Compared to men, women seem to be able to behave inappropriately and it’s thought of as “sexy” and “flirty.” When a man does the same behavior, it’s predatory and called out. We’ve made a lot of progress with calling out harassment when we see it or experience it, but there’s room for improvement because of this double standard. Any wanted attention is harassment, period. It doesn’t matter if the person doing it is a man, woman, or anyone else.
