#8: That’s Hollywood For You

This interview story is so ridiculous, it doesn’t seem real. Unfortunately, it is. This person is an aspiring actor and has spent a lot of time going in for auditions. His worst audition experience totally discredited their identity in the most ridiculous way. He had gone in to audition for the role of an Irish character from Ireland, thinking he would do well because he is, after all, an Irish man from Ireland.

He turned out to be wrong. What does “no accent” even mean? This guy obviously didn’t know what they meant by “no accent” since literally everyone has an accent. He improvised and just decided to do an American accent. It wasn’t what the casting director was looking for, because he didn’t get hired. Oh well, their loss!
