#7: That’s Gonna Be a ‘No’ For Me

Isn’t it the worst when you think a job interview went well and the interviewer feels differently? That’s what happened to this poor lady. She had an interview that she thought went pretty well, and she was being walked out by the person who interviewed her. Another team member started to walk up to introduce himself to her, and that’s when things got cringe.

As the other employee was very obviously walking up to introduce himself, the interviewer intercepted and shook their head “no” without saying a word. Basically, they were saying she wasn’t going to get the job, so don’t even bother introducing yourself to her. Rude! A more tactful approach could have avoided that whole awkward situation.
